If you want your RaiseDonors 2.0 giving pages have your unique domain, you can white label your giving pages to have your domain show instead of RaiseDonors. This article will walk you through that process.
Getting Started
Once you're ready to white label your giving pages you will need gather some information first. You are going to need your website login information and you will need to have decided what you want your subdomain and your primary domain will be for your giving pages. Your primary domain should match your website but you have a bit more room for creativity on your subdomain name. So, if your organization's webpage is www.unicornsunite.com then you might choose for your RaiseDonors domain name to be:
give.unicornsunite.com
Now that you have your subdomain and primary domains ready to go, you'll need to navigate to settings then White Label within RaiseDonors.
White Labeling
Now you're ready to enter your subdomain and primary domains. Make sure your primary domain matches your website domain. As you enter your subdomain and primary domains, you will see what your giving page domains will become on the right side. Once you're happy with the domain, you'll select Start Configuration.
After selecting Start Configuration, there will be a pop up (make sure you don't have pop-ups blocked on this page) letting you know how the connection will be made with your domain and allowing to choose to move forward. Select Continue to continue white labeling your giving pages.
Once you click continue, this will do the work of finding your DNS Provider and connecting with them. After the service has found your DNS provider, you will be prompted to login to your website. After logging in, the modal will add all the DNS information needed. Once the box closes, your portion of this will be complete.
What Next?
After you have completed your portion of the white labeling it will take up to a week to process and make the necessary changes on the RaiseDonors backend. Once your pages have been white labeled, you'll see your custom domain appear on your giving pages.
If you have any giving pages that were built before you finished the white label process, those links and pages will still work so you do not need to go back and edit those pages.
