The RaiseDonors integration for Virtuous will allow gifts to flow directly into Virtuous CRM so they can be bundled and imported via the Gift Transaction tool. In addition, depending on your organization's preferences, you can also Receipt these Gifts through Virtuous CRM. Let's walk through setting up that integration!
To configure your integration, start in RaiseDonors select the Settings tab and navigate to Integrations under System Settings
Then you will select the CRM tab and find the Virtuous CRM icon.
Toggle the Status to ON and click the yellow Connect to Virtuous on the right-hand side. You will then be redirected to your Virtuous admin login. You will then see an option to grant RaiseDonors access to your CRM, once you select Grant Access the connection will be made.
It's Synced! What Now?
Once your RaiseDonors integration has been configured, you'll want to make sure that each of your giving pages includes Segment Codes and Project Codes that sync with the values already set up in your Virtuous instance. Depending on how your organization maintains Project details, the sync function between RaiseDonors and VCRM can help ensure the details in each platform mirror each other. With Contacts entering your database in several different manners, via a form, manually, or bulk import, you can choose to manage the sync details between RaiseDonors and VCRM. Below is a collection of additional Support Articles that cover the details of each of these creation, sync processes, and how you can customize them to fit your organization's needs.

Gifts
When you import Gifts that RaiseDonors has sent over to the Virtuous import tool, you create a link between donors in both systems. As gifts are received, they can be seen in real-time on the Gift Transactions page in Virtuous. Gift transactions will be bundled nightly and bundled together into an import file. As you import these Gifts, you’ll either link them to existing Contact Records in Virtuous, or you’ll be prompted to create new Contacts. When you perform either of these actions, you form a link between the donor in RaiseDonors and the donor in Virtuous.
These imports will be visible on the Gift and Contact Import page as they are available.
Virtuous will also sync with RaiseDonors when you update certain donor information. For example, when you update a donor’s information on their Contact record in Virtuous, it will update in RaiseDonors and vice versa, as well as any gifts or recurring gift schedules.
Receipting Option
Depending on your organizations preferences, you can chose to Receipt Gifts through VCRM rather than RaiseDonors. Back in the integration settings, you'll notice a toggle option to "Receipt Gifts on Import". This means RaiseDonors will NOT process a Receipt and instead this Gift will import to VCRM with the intention of the Receipting process to be completed in VCRM.

Campaigns and Segments
Campaigns and Segments that you create in Virtuous and RaiseDonors will sync. Any segment that you assign as the default segment to a form or page in RaiseDonors will show in the associated Campaign reporting as well as any donations that occur under that Segment.
Note: We recommend creating your Campaign structure in Virtuous. Even though your Campaigns will sync to RaiseDonors, not all the Segments that exist under that Campaign in VirtuousCRM will, only the Segments that you have assigned. Check out this article for more information on syncing Campaigns and Segments.
