In RaiseDonors, Projects are used as fund designations. Depending on how exactly your organization is using RaiseDonors, the management of Project details will vary. Each use case is outlined below.
Using RaiseDonors and Virtuous CRM
If your organization is using both RaiseDonors and Virtuous CRM as a paired solution, you will create and maintain your Project details in VCRM. In RaiseDonors, you have access to a toggle that will perform a one time sync of Project data to RaiseDonors, removing the need to recreate all Projects in RaiseDonors. To sync these Project details back to RaiseDonors, follow the steps outlined below.
VCRM Prep
Only Projects in VCRM with "Available Online" enabled will sync to RaiseDonors. As mentioned, this sync is a one time process meaning data will not sync on a continuous cycle. It's important to have all your Projects created in VCRM before toggling this feature for the one time sync.

Once all Projects have been established in VCRM, then you can move on to the actual sync settings in RaiseDonors.
Sync to RaiseDonors
In RaiseDonors, navigate to "Settings" using the left-hand menu. Select the gear icon.
Then, select the "Integrations" option from the Settings menu.
Next, select the Virtuous CRM option from the Integrations list. Note that the integration must already be set up to allow for the Project data to sync.
Towards the bottom of the integration settings page you'll find an option to Import Projects. This will allow for the one-time sync to pull Project data from your synced VRCM instance for any Projects with the feature "Available Online" enabled.
A confirmation message will display with the details of the sync request.
After the sync is completed, this message will update to reflect the details of the final data synced.
Syncing New Projects from VCRM in the Future
If your organization creates new Projects in VCRM after the initial sync, these WILL automatically sync to RaiseDonors. As mentioned previously, the sync toggle is a single push of initial data. After the sync is initially set up and all previously existing Projects are synced, data will flow between RaiseDonors and Virtuous CRM.

Using RaiseDonors as a Standalone Platform or with an External CRM
If your organization is using RaiseDonors as a standalone payment platform or alongside an external CRM, it's not currently possible to sync or import Project details in bulk. It's necessary to create the various Projects in RaiseDonors.
