Adding a Giving Component
In the Page Builder, find the Add Component button at the top left of the screen. Select Giving Components to open the dropdown with options to add to your page. Some of the Components are already added to your Form.
To add additional components, drag and drop the item your preferred placement within your Form. Then, customize the Settings and Design of the Component. Read more below on each type of Giving Component and the customization options.
Donation Block
A Donation Block is the most important functional piece of your Giving Page. This feature allows your Donor to select their Gift Amount and other necessary giving details. A Donation Block will be included in your Giving Page or Form by default.
To customize the Donation Block beyond the default settings, select anywhere within the Donation Block boundaries. The available settings will open to the right of the screen.
Each Display option can provide a great donor experience, but you may find different situations call for specific formatting. Options include:
- Gift Array
- Gift Array & Custom Amount
- Gift Array
- Custom Amount
- Fixed Amount
Gift Array Options
A Gift Array is a set of multiple Gift Amount values a Donor can select while completing a Giving Page.
- Gift Array and Custom Amount - a selection of Gift Amounts to choose from will display along with an open Gift Amount field to accommodate an amount not available in the displayed options.
- Gift Array - Only the selection of Gift Amount options will display.
Once either of the Gift Array options is selected, you'll be able to set your Gift Array details. Select Add Gift Value to add more Gift Array options. You can add up to 12 Gift Values options.
Sliding the toggle to enable the Different Gift Array for Recurring Gifts will provide the same input options for Recurring Gifts Amount options to be displayed.
Responsive Ask Array
Using a Responsive Ask Array can increase the responsive quality of a Giving Page. This feature will display a dynamic set of Gift Amounts for a Donor to choose from depending on their unique Contact information and Giving behavior.
Note: For a Responsive Ask Array to populate two features must be active.

The Responsive Listener

After selecting the Responsive Ask Array option, there are then three different formats to display your selection of Gift Amount options.
- Virtuous Suggested Amount - The Gift Amounts generated will be based on the data gathered for the respective Contact record via the Responsive Listener.
- Average Gift Amount - The Gift Amounts generated will be based on the Average Gift Amount for the respective Contact record's Giving History.
- Last Gift Amount - The Gift Amounts generated will be based on the Last Gift Amount for the respective Contact record's Giving History.
Custom Amount
The Custom Amount display option will add a single Gift Amount Field to your Giving Page. You can also add a Custom Amount Placeholder. In the example below, $50 displays in a light grey text as a placeholder.
Fixed Amount
The Fixed Amount option will hard code the Gift Amount, meaning the Donor cannot change the amount. There will be no field available to modify. In the example below, $500 is the only valid Gift Amount for the Giving Page.
Donation Block for International Donors
Raise Giving Forms and Pages automatically detect when a page visitor is located somewhere outside the US (using the location and browser settings) and display their local currency for your giving form in the Donation Block. Once Raise identifies a donor’s location, it sets the corresponding currency and converts gift array amounts into that currency. If necessary this currency conversion may involve rounding. Most currencies will round to the nearest 5, maintaining the expected gift array values that end in 0s and 5s. Note: the rounding logic depends on the currency. For example, currencies like Japanese Yen will round to the nearest 1000.
Payment Block
The Payment Block is added by default and includes the fields where donors enter their payments information.
Click into the Payment Block to configure Payment Methods (to allow using Bank and Wallets,) enable Include Country and Zip Code Fields, and to opt whether the payment options are organized as tabs or as accordion buttons.
Frequency

Cover Cost
The Cover Cost Component is a checkbox that allows donors to opt-into covering the processing fees when making a Gift. This allows the full amount of their donation to go towards your organization’s mission.

Premiums

Tribute

Progress Bar
Adding a Progress Bar to your Giving Page can add visibility that helps drive Donors towards a shared goal. Configuring the Goal and associated details will allow you to control the final display of your Progress Bar.
Link a Campaign
To allow the Progress Bar to populate the appropriate information, you MUST associate a Campaign with a Giving Goal to your Giving Page. If you do not associate a Campaign with your Giving Page, no data will render.
To access the Fundraising Goal options in a Campaign, follow the navigation steps below.
- Select Campaigns from the left-hand menu
- Select the appropriate Campaign Name
- Select Actions drop-down
- Select Edit Campaign
- Scroll down to Fundraising Goal
To access the Reporting & Tracking section of a Giving Page, select the Settings gear icon in the top-right corner of the page.
To add a Default Segment, start typing in the field box to locate the appropriate Segment.
Select Fundraising Goal
You can choose which Fundraising Goal will be the Goal displayed in the Progress Bar. Choose either Total Amount Raised or Total Gifts.
Select anywhere inside the Progress Bar component box. Then, the Progress Bar settings will open to the right.
Add Offline Amount
This field allows you to add additional amounts to the Progress Bar that may not be accounted for in Virtuous Raise, such as offline gifts. Entering an amount here will allow the Progress Bar to display a more complete view of total progress.
Progress Bar Threshold
If you'd rather the Progress Bar not display until a certain amount is raised, you can opt to hide it while the total income is below a set threshold. As an example, if you want to wait until the progress reaches 20%, you can set the threshold as such. No Progress Bar will display on your Giving Page until the required amount has been raised.
