Rebranding your organization included more than updating your logo. Branding touches Settings, Pages, Premiums, Projects, and Email Templates throughout Virtuous Raise. Some updates are self-service, some require assistance from the Virtuous Support team. This article walks through what to update, where to find it, and what to expect during your rebrand.

Account Management Settings
Organization
Navigate to Settings, then select Organization. Update the Organization Name, Website Address, and Email Address fields to reflect your new brand.
These fields also feed the {{OrganizationName}}, {{OrganizationURL}}, and {{OrganizationLogoURL}} merge tags used throughout Confirmation Emails, PDF receipts, and Giving Pages. Updating them here automatically refreshes anywhere those merge tags appear.
Note: The Email Address you enter here also displays on the Contact Us tab of the Donor Portal, so update it early to avoid donors reaching an outdated inbox.
Hosted Page URL Subdomain
If your website's domain is changing, you will need to update your Hosted Page subdomain. Your Hosted Page subdomain (for example, yourorg.givevirtuous.org) under Organization cannot be updated in-app. The Virtuous support team will need to complete this for your organization. If your website is changing, open a support ticket with your new subdomain. Click here to learn how to open a support ticket.
Once Support updates your subdomain, your Hosted Pages automatically move to the new subdomain. All Raise-hosted pages and your Donor Portal will have new URLs using the new subdomain. Links using the previous subdomain will stop working, and they will not redirect to the new one. Redistribute your new links anywhere the old ones were shared, such as social posts or your website.
Payment Providers
If you use Apple Pay on Forms, you need to register any new domains where you allow Apple Pay. From the Payment Providers page, select your active Provider(s). Under Apple Pay Domain Verification, add your New Domain(s).
Payment Gateway and Stripe
If your organization's legal entity and EIN are not changing, the Virtuous Raise updates above are all you need. No updates are required in Stripe.
If your legal entity or EIN is changing, such as incorporating under a new name, update your Stripe application directly within Stripe. This includes the Legal Name, DBA, Tax ID/EIN, and representative details. Virtuous cannot modify this information on your organization's behalf.
System Settings
Design Settings
Navigate to Design to update your Font Family, Logo, Favicon, and Brand Colors to match your new visual identity. Or, alternatively, this will be updated if you modify your Knowledge Base under Raise AI. Learn more about updating your Knowledge Base below.

Embedded Form Domains
If you're embedding Forms on your website as well as using Hosted Pages, add your updated website domain on the Embedded Form Domain page. This ensures your forms are secure on your trusted sites and prevents unauthorized use.
Note: any published embedded forms from the old domain will continue to work as long as the new domain is added here.
Custom Domain
If your Raise Giving Pages are white-labeled to your own domain (for example, give.orgname.com), update your White Label Custom Domain settings to match your new domain. Navigate to the Custom Domain page. Here, enter your new Primary Domain and Subdomain, then select Start Configuration to reconnect your DNS.
Donor Portal
The URL for your Donor Portal will update once your Hosted Page subdomain is changed. If you have any donor-facing branding or naming, navigate to the Donor Portal Settings page and review:
- Login Screen Content: the messaging donors see before logging in
- Custom Page: any additional custom content page you've configured
- Advanced tab: any custom CSS or JavaScript that references old brand colors, fonts, or assets
Note: The donor's Contact Us tab pulls from the Email Address set under Organization, so confirm that field is updated as well.

Email Settings
On the Email Settings page, update From Name and Reply To Email Address with new branding or email address.
If you send a PDF with email receipts, review Receipt text and merge tags donors receive, found under the PDF Attachment tab.
If your organization is changing its sending domain as part of the rebrand, select the Domain Authentication tab to add and verify your new domain. This process is powered by SendGrid and requires adding DNS records at your domain provider. Once verified, return to the General tab to update your From Email Address to one at your new authenticated domain.

Raise AI Settings
If you use Raise AI to build Giving Pages, navigate to the Knowledge Base page in Settings. Review any existing Knowledge Sources and edit or delete old branding. Update your Mission Statement and Brand Voice, and review any saved Documents or Web Pages, so future AI-generated Page content matches your new brand.
Select Discover From Website to re-scan your updated website and refresh what Raise AI knows about your organization automatically.
Note: Raise AI Knowledge Base is currently in beta. If you don't see this option in your Settings menu, it may not yet be available on your account. To enable it, navigate to Early Access Programs in Settings.

Experiences
Review each existing Hosted Page and Embedded Form individually, as global Design Settings and Organization updates do not automatically apply to Pages already published.
On each Page or Form, open the Header component and update the Logo, Custom Links, and Donor Portal Link. Do the same for the Footer component, which typically displays your logo, contact information, and website links.
If any Page or Form uses Custom Code Snippets under its Design tab, review that code for hardcoded old brand colors, logos, or domain references.

Project and Premium Details
Review the Name, Description, and Image fields on each active Project and Premium. As Names and Descriptions can be donor-facing, be sure these do not reference your former organization name.

Learn more about Premiums here.
Email Templates
Logos and images in Email Templates are added manually as content blocks and do not automatically update when you change your global Design Settings. Open each Email Template in the Email Builder and replace any outdated logo or brand imagery. Click here to learn more about building email templates.
