Automatic Invites for Donors
By default, Raise adds a button that links to the Donor Portal at the bottom of a confirmation email the donor receives.
When the donor selects the button, they’ll enter the email they used to donate, and will receive a verification code to log in.
This code provides the magic link to log them in without a password. However, the donor can opt to use a password instead.
Manual Invites for Donors
In addition to invites from confirmation emails from donations, you can send a donor an email from Raise that invites them to log in to the Donor Portal. Use this when a donor calls and has never used the Portal or needs help getting in.
- Select Donors from the main menu.
- Navigate to the donor's profile.
- Select Actions.
- Select Resend Link to Donor Portal. The donor receives an email with a link to log in.
Finding Your Donor Portal URL As A Raise User
In addition to invites, some organizations choose to link the Donor Portal URL directly to their webpage. To find your Donor Portal URL:
- Navigate Settings from the main menu on the left.
- Under System Settings, select Donor Portal Settings. Find your URL at the top of the page.
