Modules are AI-generated building blocks of every page you create. Each Module is pre-designed and fully composed with its own layout options, text structure, and visual personality, helping you streamline the page building process. Understanding how Modules work and what each type offers helps you build effective, on-brand giving pages in Raise.
Table of Contents
Overview
Modules can be added to your page through the AI Builder or manually by drag-and-drop. Raise automatically generates the content, layout, and design for each Module based on the information in your Organization Settings and the data added to your Knowledge Base. Though their content comes pre-generated, Modules can be fully customized manually or by using the AI Assistant. Click here to learn more about the AI Builder and Assistant.
Modifying a Module
To view or edit a Module’s messaging, click into the component to open the settings on the right-hand side of the Builder. Here, configure the copy under the Content tab. All Modules have a structured copy schema including named fields for your headline, body text, eyebrow label, and call to action. This keeps your content organized and ensures every piece of text has a clear purpose. Additional content settings are outlined below for each Module.
Every Module supports multiple layout options, so you're not locked into a single look. Select the Layout tab in the settings to view the different layout options.
The Layout settings also include Motion level configuration, which impacts whether the content is static or moves on screen. Choose between None (no animation), Subtle transitions, or Animated (full animated motion) depending on how dynamic you want the experience to feel.
For advanced design customization, Modules support scoped CSS and JavaScript, in addition to basic color options under the Design tab.
Modules can also hold other Page components. Drag buttons, text blocks, or images directly inside a Module to extend it further.
If you’d prefer to use plain-language prompts to modify any Module, use the Raise AI Assistant by selecting the purple star icon on the left-hand side.
The AI Assistant chat opens on the right. Here, describe any modifications to any of the Modules or components on the page for Raise to automatically update.
Module Types
There are 15 different Module types in the Raise page builder, each serving a specific purpose. All Modules share the same text structure in the Component Settings, but each includes additional configuration options specific to that Module type.
