What Are Admin Fees?

Sometimes organizations would also like to collect an administration fee on top of the processing fee. This is common for organizations that have people raising individual support that also need to support the main office. In RaiseDonors, you have the ability to collect an administration fee when adding the donor covers cost component.

• Admin Fee Type - You can choose percentage or fixed amount.
  
• Admin Fee Amount - This is where you enter the percentage or fixed amount you want to collect.
  
• Admin Fee Project - If you want the Admin Fee to go to a different Project than is designated for the Gift, you can select that Project here. Otherwise, the Gift will be split amongst the Project already selected on the Gift.
  
• Checkbox Content - This is what shows on the Giving Form for the donor; {fee} is a merge field for how much the fee will be.
  
• Checkbox alignment - Allows you to determine where it aligns on the giving form
  
• Admin Fee Checked by Default - When this is toggled on, it allows you to default all Gifts to covering the Admin Fees.
